Preparing For Your Session

Everything you need to know before your appointment.
Should I shave before my laser appointment?
Yes! Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session. Avoid waxing, tweezing, or sugaring—your hair follicles need to be intact for the laser to do its job.
Can I wear skincare or deodorant before my session?
Please don’t! Arrive with clean, product-free skin—no lotions, oils, makeup, or deodorant on the treatment area.
What should I avoid before my appointment?
Skip sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 2 weeks before treatment. Also avoid retinoids and exfoliants on the area for a few days pre-appointment.
What should I wear to my laser session?
Wear loose, comfy clothing that won’t irritate the area afterward. For example, skip tight leggings if you’re getting your bikini or legs done.

Is this laser safe for darker skin types?
Yes! Our 3-Diode Fusion Laser is safe and effective for all skin types, including deeper complexions. No burns, no worries.
What areas can I get treated?
Just about anywhere! We offer laser for underarms, legs, bikini, chin, upper lip, back, chest, and more. If there’s hair, we can handle it.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
It feels like a quick snap or a warm flick—totally tolerable for most people. Our 3-Diode Fusion Laser is faster and more comfortable than traditional lasers.
Will I get ingrown hairs from this?
Actually, laser hair removal is one of the best ways to prevent ingrown hairs. By targeting the hair follicle at the root, laser treatments reduce regrowth over time, meaning fewer chances for hair to get trapped under the skin. Most clients notice a major decrease in ingrowns after just a few sessions.
How many sessions will I need to get the best results?
Most people need 6–8 sessions, spaced about 5 weeks apart. But with our advanced laser tech, you’ll likely see visible results in fewer sessions.

Get all the answers you need for a successful, stress-free sugaring & waxing session.

Preparing For Your Session

Everything you need to know before your appointment.
Should I exfoliate before my sugaring / waxing session?

Yes! Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs. Just skip it the day of.

How long should my hair be before my session?
About the length of a grain of rice—roughly ¼ inch. That’s usually around 10–14 days of growth after shaving.
Can I work out before or after my appointment?
We recommend skipping workouts right after your session to prevent sweat-related irritation. Light movement beforehand is fine.
Will I get ingrown hairs from this?
Sugaring is known to reduce the chance of ingrowns, but it can still happen depending on your skin type. That’s why we always recommend using our Kitty Klear 2-step healing oil to soothe and protect your skin post-treatment.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Loose, breathable clothing is best—especially if you're sugaring more sensitive areas like the bikini line or underarms.

For the First-Timers

New to sugaring? We’ve got you. Here’s what to expect.
Does sugaring hurt less than waxing?
It’s much gentler than waxing! Since the sugar paste is applied warm (not hot) and removed in the direction of hair growth, most clients find it far more comfortable.
How long will my results last?
You can expect to stay smooth for 3–4 weeks, and with consistent treatments, hair regrows finer and more slowly over time.
What makes your sugaring treatment organic?
Our sugaring paste is made from just three simple ingredients: sugar, lemon, and water—no synthetic chemicals, resins, or artificial fragrances. It’s all-natural, biodegradable, and skin-friendly.
Is sugaring safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our sugaring paste is made from just sugar, lemon, and water, making it safe, natural, and hypoallergenic.
Can I sugar during my period?
Yep—but your skin might be a little more sensitive. Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup and give us a heads-up if you’d prefer a gentler approach.
