Should I exfoliate before my sugaring session?
Yes! Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs. Just skip it the day of.
How long should my hair be before my session?
About the length of a grain of rice—roughly ¼ inch. That’s usually around 10–14 days of growth after shaving.
Can I work out before or after my appointment?
We recommend skipping workouts right after your session to prevent sweat-related irritation. Light movement beforehand is fine.
Will I get ingrown hairs from this?
Sugaring is known to reduce the chance of ingrowns, but it can still happen depending on your skin type. That’s why we always recommend using our Kitty Klear 2-step healing oil to soothe and protect your skin post-treatment.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Loose, breathable clothing is best—especially if you're sugaring more sensitive areas like the bikini line or underarms.

Does sugaring hurt less than waxing?
It’s much gentler than waxing! Since the sugar paste is applied warm (not hot) and removed in the direction of hair growth, most clients find it far more comfortable.

You can expect to stay smooth for 3–4 weeks, and with consistent treatments, hair regrows finer and more slowly over time.
